About Us…

My name is Pamela Harris and I am the owner of the Van Buren Reminder as of January 6, 2014. I would like to take this time to introduce myself to you and inform you about our services.

I am a lifelong resident of the area and previously owned the Van Buren County Advertiser in Gobles for more than 20 years before I purchased the Reminder in Bangor. The combined newspapers were successful but when the crossovers between the two towns proved redundant to the customers I closed the doors in Gobles to just focus on the Bangor Van Buren Reminder.

The Reminder has been a fixture in the Bangor, Bloomingdale, Gobles and South Haven area for more than 60 years. The support from our communities has created mutual success with Community Pages like Spectacular South Haven, seasonal events like the Blueberry Festival, Ice Breaker, Wedding Planner pages, Graduation pages and School Newsletters make the Reminder a must have to keep you updated on what’s happening.

Having the paper online is just a click away and when the weather doesn’t permit delivery or you just want to review something from last year you can find it fast.
